- Mechanical (ME) : Minimum 60% marks in BE / B.Tech / AMIE / B.Sc.(Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical (EE) : Minimum 60% marks in BE / B.Tech / AMIE / B.Sc.(Engg.) in Electrical Engineering
- Geology (GG) : Minimum 60% marks in M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology
- Mechanical (MN) : Minimum 60% marks in BE / B.Tech / AMIE / B.Sc.(Engg.) in Mining Engineering
